A Month of Less Distraction – Day 21
You win a few, you lose a few. It only took 21 days, but today I was driving to the library to teach yoga, and I started breathing before anything distracted me and annoyed me. I did that for the whole 20 minute drive there. I couldn’t believe I made it there. I didn’t shout at anyone, I let people pull in front of me. I didn’t get upset waiting at lights. I opened the windows and turned off the radio. I felt great by the time I got there. I didn’t get anxious looking for a parking spot close to the building. I don’t think it took me any longer to get there. I think I have to do this again.
I haven’t done a lot to get rid of the belly. I had cake yesterday, as planned. I had pizza tonight. Oh well. Let’s see what the rest of the week brings.
