Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons and their families and friends through SUPPORT to cope with an adverse society, EDUCATION to enlighten an ill-informed public, and ADVOCACY to end discrimination and to secure civil rights. PFLAG provides the opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.

• PFLAG North Jersey meets every second Sunday of the month at the First Presbyterian & Trinity Church - 111 Irvington Avenue, South Orange (use the brown middle door entrance on South Orange Avenue).
• Newcomers meeting: 1:30 -2:30 pm. This is an opportunity for those who are new to PFLAG to meet in a smaller, more personal setting. Come share your story with us or just listen. Either way is fine.
• Regular meeting: 2:30 - 4 pm. This part of the meeting involves either speakers or group discussion.
